About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing Data Engineer to design and maintain the data foundation that powers omnichannel reporting and analytics across the agency.
In this role, you will build reliable end to end pipelines that ingest data from multiple advertising platforms and internal systems, centralize it in Snowflake, and make its analysis ready for dashboards and decision making. You will also own custom API integrations and help optimize the Sigma BI environment so stakeholders can access fast, accurate, and actionable insights.
This is a hands-on role for someone whos equally comfortable engineering data solutions and digging into performance data to spot trends, issues, and optimization opportunities.
Responsibilities
Build, automate, and maintain ETL and ELT pipelines that pull data from Retail Media Networks, paid social platforms, DSPs, and internal sources into Snowflake
Create and manage custom API integrations using Python libraries and related tooling, including endpoint testing and troubleshooting
Support the full API workflow, including authentication setup, secure routing, gateway configurations, and validation of responses
Develop scalable transformations in Python, R, and SQL to convert raw inputs into clean, standardized tables for analytics and reporting
Own and optimize the Sigma Computing layer, creating performant datasets and interactive dashboards that communicate insights clearly
Partner closely with analytics, media, and client facing teams to automate reporting needs and improve data accessibility
Implement monitoring, QA checks, and error handling to ensure reporting accuracy and reliability across all dashboards
Investigate anomalies, identify data gaps, and surface opportunities that can support media performance improvements
Maintain clear documentation of pipelines, integrations, definitions, and data models to support long term scalability
Requirements
3+ years of experience in data engineering, backend development, or technical analytics roles
Strong proficiency in Python or R and advanced SQL skills
Proven experience working with APIs, including different invocation methods and testing tools such as Postman or curl
Hands on experience managing or building within a cloud data warehouse, ideally Snowflake
Experience developing production ready ETL pipelines, including scheduling, logging, and failure recovery
Experience working with BI tools and building dashboards, ideally Sigma Computing
Familiarity with marketing and media data sources, especially Retail Media, paid social, and the Google and DSP ecosystem
Ability to translate business and measurement needs into scalable technical solutions
Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and fixing issues
Advanced English communication skills
Nice to Have
Experience with Fivetran, Precog, or similar data integration platforms
Experience standardizing cross channel marketing metrics and creating unified reporting layers
Knowledge of data governance best practices, access controls, and security considerations in analytics environments
Experience supporting fast paced agency teams with multiple clients and frequent reporting cycles
Exposure to performance analysis and media optimization workflows
